lake Dreiburgensee

A lake with so many possibilities

fun and relaxation

charming in every season

idyllically situated Waldsee, correctly called Rothauer See, is located directly at the Bavarian Forest Museum Village, approx. 3 km from Tittling in the Rothau district.

The 8 hectare water area is ideal for swimming, boating and fishing. The Dreiburgensee offers a large lawn for sunbathing with a few trees that provide shade. For children there are two small playgrounds next to the sandy beach. The lake shore is surrounded by a beautiful circular hiking trail. Numerous benches invite you to rest and relax. A barefoot path in the stream provides cooling. The beavers' dams and castles do not only fascinate the little ones. When the weather is nice, the restaurants are open. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the water during the bathing season.
