The market town Tittling
The gateway to the Bavarian Forest

Tittling has always been the central place of the so-called "Dreiburgenland", which derives its name from the three nearby castles "Englburg", "Fürstenstein" and "Saldenburg".
Thanks to the favorable location between Passau and the Bavarian Forest National Park and a number of leisure facilities on site and in the immediate vicinity, the state-recognized resort of Tittling is a popular holiday destination.
A cultural and tourist attraction is the "Bavarian Forest Museum Village" on the Dreiburgensee, one of the largest open-air museums in Europe.
The well-known travel company "Rotel Tours" operates from Tittling worldwide.
